This year's Halloween was a little different ... and at the last min. We usually go to a local church that provides games and activities for the kids to earn candy. We have done it for a few years now and Keith has always worked security for them. But when I called Keith just a few hours before his shift and asked him what time it started we both found out that this year they were not opening their Halloween party to the public. I panicked! We have always done it there and I was especially looking forward to it this year with having 3 kids and the weather was rainy and cold!! So I first called my sister to see if she would join me in taking the kids around some where. Then my best friend offered that we could tag along with her, her boyfriend, her sister and kids around their neighborhood. We jumped on that!! And I am sooo glad we did! The kids had sooo much fun and of course got lots of candy :) It was a little cold and a little misty but for the most part the kids did pretty well - Cohen had his rain boots on, Kirsten slept and Kendall jumped into the stroller about 3/4 of the way thru and we wrapped her tight in a blanket. She was sooo cute!! Her teeth were chattering so loud but when you asked her if she was done she would say thru gritted teeth "No, please more trick or treat." Just as we rounded the corner towards the car about 1 hour into trick or treating Cohen was asking to be done so it was just perfect! We headed home, had 1 piece of candy, got into pjs and watched a movie together. It was a fun night!!

My favorite 3 Trick or Treaters
My pumpkin - Kirsten
Minnie Mouse - Kendall
Power Ranger - Cohen
Just so happens Kendall found her other half :)
So cute!!!!
2 cute little lady bugs
"Guys, wait for me!!"
Aunt Stacy was a big help :)
What a fun group we had :)
So it may not have been what we thought our night was going to be like but we had such a good time. Maybe "traditional" trick or treating will become the new thing :)
