We have been married for over 7 years. We were high school sweethearts and our love grew from there. We always knew we wanted a family and were thrilled when we found out we were expecting the first time. Cohen joined our family and our life has never been the same!! Kendall joined us a little while later and we were amazed at how different girls can be from boys :) We have now added another little character to our zoo. We are so thankful for God's blessings and can't wait to see where He takes us.

Last day of school

I can't believe Cohen's first year of school is finished already. It seems like just yesterday I was writing the blog about how hard it was for me to imagine my little baby going off to school. Now I can't believe it's done. He had such a great year and made so many friends and learned so much. We are so grateful for his wonderful teachers and his great friends he was able to make. One of the last days was spent having a park party.

Even the sisters got to tag along

Whitecaps Game

The other night we went to the Whitecaps with some friends. I don't really think we watched much of the game but we had a good time eating food and watching the kids run around.

Water park fun

Last weekend we took the zoo on a getaway! Keith and I celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary - I can't believe sometimes that it has been that long!! And we wanted to celebrate the end of Cohen's first year of school. We didn't want to go far or spend too much money. We found the perfect solution - the Holiday Inn express and water park near our house. We checked in Sat afternoon and we were surprised at how non crowded it was! Perfect for our kids :) They thought the idea of sleeping in a room all together and getting to spend time in a pool was awesome!! That afternoon I think we were in the pool for more than 3 hours!!! The "water park" had a little kids area with 2 slides, a hot tub, a lap pool, a whirl pool area and a 2 story slide. At first Cohen wanted one of us at the end of the slide to catch him but after only a few runs he was doing it all by himself - even laying down to make himself go even faster like dad!!

Didn't take long for him to remember how to swim all by himself

That night we went to Craig's Cruisers to have a little more fun! Cohen loves the go carts and putt putt golf. So much so that he got 2 holes in one. :)
