July 4th week part 1

What a week!! I had the entire week off from work (the entire office closes down for the week). We spent most of it outside - either in the pool or at the lake. Wednesday night, July 3rd - my parents lake had their fire works. Keith had to work so I got the kids in their pj's and headed out to my parents. Cohen thought it was pretty funny that we were going to wear our pj's on the boat :) It was a great show as usual. They had 3 separate families setting off fireworks and the entire lake was given lanterns to set off. It was really cool!!

Around here

Time seriously flies when you are having fun! And boy have we been having fun!! Summer is my FAVORITE time of year! The kids have been really busy with outdoors, play dates and the lake.

We have also been spending some time at Fredrick Meijer Gardens! The kids love it there and it gets them outdoors and meeting new friends :)
