We have been married for over 7 years. We were high school sweethearts and our love grew from there. We always knew we wanted a family and were thrilled when we found out we were expecting the first time. Cohen joined our family and our life has never been the same!! Kendall joined us a little while later and we were amazed at how different girls can be from boys :) We have now added another little character to our zoo. We are so thankful for God's blessings and can't wait to see where He takes us.

Election 2012

While it may not have gone the way we wanted I am still very thankful for the opportunity and freedom we have to say in who runs our government. It was fun to bring the girls with me and talk to my kids about America and freedoms we have. So as we enter another 4 years let us keep those appointed to our government in our prayers!

And a few just more pictures just because :)

Oh Kirsten - please stop growing!!!! Although I do LOVE all of the new things you are doing! You love to smile whenever someone gives you any attention. You belly laugh frequently esp when we shake your legs. You love to babble - even if it is time to be sleeping like 2:30 in the morning!!

High Five - we made it to 3 months!!

Wedding day for Matt and Jill

On November 10th we not only celebrated Kendall's birthday but we also got to celebrate Matt and Jill's wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony and such a fun reception. It's always so fun to hear about how God works in the lives of others. And how something as simple as a date to a dance or an invite to a basketball game can bring two people and two families together.

Kendall turns 2!!!!

Wow!!!! How does time go soooo fast?! Kendall celebrated 2 years on the 10th. We had a family wedding that afternoon so we celebrated with Keith's family with a little lunch and gifts! She was so excited that morning to wake up to balloons all over the kitchen/dinning room. She LOVES balloons!! She also loves spending time with family!!

Halloween 2012

This year's Halloween was a little different ... and at the last min. We usually go to a local church that provides games and activities for the kids to earn candy. We have done it for a few years now and Keith has always worked security for them. But when I called Keith just a few hours before his shift and asked him what time it started we both found out that this year they were not opening their Halloween party to the public. I panicked! We have always done it there and I was especially looking forward to it this year with having 3 kids and the weather was rainy and cold!! So I first called my sister to see if she would join me in taking the kids around some where. Then my best friend offered that we could tag along with her, her boyfriend, her sister and kids around their neighborhood. We jumped on that!! And I am sooo glad we did! The kids had sooo much fun and of course got lots of candy :) It was a little cold and a little misty but for the most part the kids did pretty well - Cohen had his rain boots on, Kirsten slept and Kendall jumped into the stroller about 3/4 of the way thru and we wrapped her tight in a blanket. She was sooo cute!! Her teeth were chattering so loud but when you asked her if she was done she would say thru gritted teeth "No, please more trick or treat." Just as we rounded the corner towards the car about 1 hour into trick or treating Cohen was asking to be done so it was just perfect! We headed home, had 1 piece of candy, got into pjs and watched a movie together. It was a fun night!!

My favorite 3 Trick or Treaters

My pumpkin - Kirsten

Minnie Mouse - Kendall

Power Ranger - Cohen

Just so happens Kendall found her other half :)

So cute!!!!

Aunt Stacy was a big help :)

What a fun group we had :)

So it may not have been what we thought our night was going to be like but we had such a good time. Maybe "traditional" trick or treating will become the new thing :)
