Last weekend we took the zoo on a getaway! Keith and I celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary - I can't believe sometimes that it has been that long!! And we wanted to celebrate the end of Cohen's first year of school. We didn't want to go far or spend too much money. We found the perfect solution - the Holiday Inn express and water park near our house. We checked in Sat afternoon and we were surprised at how non crowded it was! Perfect for our kids :) They thought the idea of sleeping in a room all together and getting to spend time in a pool was awesome!! That afternoon I think we were in the pool for more than 3 hours!!! The "water park" had a little kids area with 2 slides, a hot tub, a lap pool, a whirl pool area and a 2 story slide. At first Cohen wanted one of us at the end of the slide to catch him but after only a few runs he was doing it all by himself - even laying down to make himself go even faster like dad!!

That night we went to Craig's Cruisers to have a little more fun! Cohen loves the go carts and putt putt golf. So much so that he got 2 holes in one. :)
My loves!!
