We have been married for over 7 years. We were high school sweethearts and our love grew from there. We always knew we wanted a family and were thrilled when we found out we were expecting the first time. Cohen joined our family and our life has never been the same!! Kendall joined us a little while later and we were amazed at how different girls can be from boys :) We have now added another little character to our zoo. We are so thankful for God's blessings and can't wait to see where He takes us.

Easter 2013

This Easter we headed to the east side of the state to Keith's parents house. The kids had been sooo excited for this. We had a count down of how many more "sleeps" until Grandma and Grandpa's. When I told Cohen Friday night that it was just one more "sleep" until we went he said he was ready bed.... at 6:15 pm :) Sat morning he had his backpack packed of all the things he wanted to bring as soon as he woke up. We left GR about 12:30 - just in time for Kirsten's nap - the other two were too excited they stayed awake for the entire ride :)

After unpacking the car the kids wanted to play outside. Grandma and Grandpa have a great yard to run around and a wonderful tree swing Keith made a few years ago.

While I was taking pictures of the girls I looked up to see our little monkey getting a little adventurous

He won't climb that...right?

THAT LITTLE STINKER!!!

And now he won't come down!!

Thankfully right about then Grandma and dad came back from the store and convinced Cohen to come down. Keith's brother in law, sister and niece arrived shortly after and we sat down from some dinner - white chicken chilli - one of my favorites.
The rest of the evening was spent watching basketball, playing outside again, catching up and watching the kids run all over the house!! After the kids went to bed Keith and I "helped" the Easter Bunny hid some Easter eggs.

The next morning the kids were anxious to see what the Easter Bunny brought. I wanted the kids to start by remembering the true reason we celebrate Easter so I read the Resurrection story before they started their hunt for Easter eggs.

Can we find eggs now?

For the next 45 min the kids searched for eggs and we had a little breakfast.

Getting a pretty full bag!!

Stopping for a little taste test

I think we did good :)

We got ready and headed off to church. It was a wonderful service celebrating our risen Savior!!

After about 25 photos we get an okay one!
Happy Easter!

Cohen wanted a picture of his awesome hat and shoes :)
